What is Ask A Pharmacist?
Ask A Pharmacist is a project offered by the West Virginia Center for Drug and Health Information (WV CDHI), West Virginia University School of Pharmacy and the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy Center for Medication Use, Policy & Economics. The project is being offered to UA Local 190 members to determine their interest and use of this service.

What is the goal of Ask A Pharmacist?
The goal is to help people receive accurate, personalized answers to their medication questions. Ask us questions about medication efficacy, side effects, interactions and ways to lower medication costs. We also can answer questions about non-prescription medicines, herbal products and dietary supplements. We will send you an unbiased answer. Tough questions may take a few days to answer so we can provide you with the most up-to-date, complete information possible.

Is there a charge for Ask A Pharmacist?
No! This service is provided at no cost. Why? We want to help the public make wise decisions about medication use. Medications can cure disease, decrease symptoms, and keep people healthy if used properly.
