JustAskBlue.com is developed by the West Virginia Center for Drug and Health Information (WV CDHI), West Virginia University School of Pharmacy and the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy Center for Medication Use, Policy & Economics. JustAskBlue.com was funded by a grant from the Community Pharmacy Foundation.

JustAskBlue.com provides two services: For Your Health – Tailored Information for Patients (HTip) and Ask A Pharmacist.

The HTip service directs users to high quality, reliable health and medical web sites. Users submit an information request. In reply, they are sent direct links (just click) to excellent web sites that contain the information they desire – no more “surfing” to get needed information!

The Ask A Pharmacist service gives accurate, personalized answers to medication questions. This service answers questions about medication uses, side effects, interactions, ways to lower medicine costs, non-prescription drugs, herbal products, and dietary supplements, among other topics.

JustAskBlue.com is staffed by university-affiliated pharmacists with years of experience in patient care and drug information. Senior doctoral-level pharmacy students may also assist with providing our services as they learn to become pharmacists. Students are always supervised and their work is carefully reviewed by our staff before answers are given.
